August 13-15, 2008 Conference and Fair: Davao Colleges and Universities Network (DACUN).

Davao Colleges and Universities Network (DACUN). through its Library Committee, and Mindanao Alliance of Educators in Library arid Information Science (MAELIS) cordially invite you to the 2nd Phil-BIST (Book, Information Science and Technology) Conference and Fair on August 13-15, 2008. at the newly-built and furnished, fully air-conditioned Theatre Room, Philippine Women College. University Avenue. Juna Subdivision, Davao City.

Our theme for this year is "EMERGING LANDSCAPE, MINDSCAPE AND NETSCAPE OF THE PhILIPPINE BOOKS, INFORMATION SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY FOR QUALITY SERVICES" with the objective of providing an annual venue where professors, information managers and specialists, government planners, private sector advocates, and industry players exchange professional agenda to improve the educational and academic landscape in Davao, the Mindanao region and the Philippines in general towards transforming higher education institutions with a cutting-edge in thisglobally competitive knowledge society.

The Conference and Fair also affords faculty members and other professionals the live selection of content and information technology applications and system ever held in Mindanao and outside of thenational capital.

sayang ngayon ko lng nkita may workshop pla kayo last august...wla na ba kayong workshops/seminars schedule this december or this coming january? if ever meron please inform me..thank you..more power and God bless

Ramos, also supervised a memorial library, came to PNU from barrio library work, where he managed three libraries and adult classes for Trinity College of Quezon City-Sagada Special Academic Program for 3 years. He started as a teacher-librarian (E. Abada High School, DCS, Manila) in 1992, became an instructor-librarian for six years (St. Louis College of Valenzuela City), and previously college librarian of the Education & Periodicals Section of PNU, 2008 president to PNU-LISAA, Inc., now conference chair to Every Librarian's Association, PAARL, Inc He earned academic units both for Master in Public Administration and Master in Educational Management. Presently, he is enrolled in MAED with Library Science as specialization at PNU and used to work in the IRS of DLSU-Manila and now associate librarian to its Archives services.
